Monday 19th
Desember 2013, I went to Singapore
for holiday with my fiance and family, we stay at Marina Mandarin Hotel. When we arrived
there, I was excited to go around
Singapore at night, but before we went, my fiancé took me to dinner at Aqua
Marine Resaurant which was still inside the hotel. I was so amazed when I saw
the interior of the restaurant looked so
beautiful. This made me think "if we ate dinner in here it would be like I
spend all of my salary in 3 months when I work as an assistant at university.
haha
“Dear, are you sure we will eat dinner in this restaurant?” I asked him.
James said,
“Yup, I want take you to have a romantic dinner, only me and you”
“Hmm, but I think its too much, and cost is
to expensive dear. How if we dinner at Mc Donalds? I think its better” I give
eyelashes to him
“Haha, we can find McDonalds in everywhere in
Jakarta and we can eat McD's whenever we want dear, but I want give you
something special in this holiday, I don’t care about price, I just want to
make you happy.” And james held my hand as we went inside the restaurant
We meet
a very friendly waitress, who escorted us to a table that was already booked by
James a few days ago before we arrived
in Singapore. We sat at a table that had a candle and a bunch of red roses,
James shifted a seat to allow me to
sit down. We were sitting face to
face, and I started grabbing the
roses, I found a greeting card inside. I start to open it, and the card reads..
"I love you Kusuma".
Oh my God, my heart
feels completely melted, we had dinner with our romantic
favorite song "Merry Me" popularized by Trian, which was sung by
Mr. Brian accompanied by a grand piano. I just realized that all of this has been planned by James, I can not
say anything else other than to say thank you at this time, so romantic..
After dinner we decided to drive around Singapore, we
start a walk to the Singapore Flyer, incidentally our hotel was very
strategicly located so we could go arround the tourist center in Singapore.
Merlion ‘icon of singapore’ , Marina Bay, Singapore flyer and Garden by the
bay, all just a few of minutes walk from our Hotel. Singapore's beauty is very
unmatched, the air is very clean and the city is without pollution.
Additionally we did not find traffic
jams at all, very different from in Indonesia.
We are going
to Singapore Flyer, we buy 2 tickets for 33 SGD or Rp 283.800/person, Singapore
flyer is the highest flyer in the world, with a height of 165 meters, 5 meters
higher than the Star of Nanchang in China and 30 meters taller than the London
Eye in England. It is a place that must be visited to be able to see the whole
beauty of the scenery of 3 cultures intertwined, Singapore, Malaysia (Johor)
and Indonesia (Batam).

We
were up in the
flyer with a phillipine nationality couple who was on their honeymoon in Singapore. We really enjoyed this romantic moment as we
could see a good view of Singapore at night with beautiful lights and did not
forget to take some photos.

After being satisfied with the beautiful Singapore from the top of
Flyer, we continued the journey towards Marina Bay.We walking together,
also holding hands, and I said ..
"Dear thanks for everything, I'm so happy today"
"You are welcome dear, thanks for always staying by
my side, I hope you are always happy with me." James smiled and stroked my
hair.
I also replied "Of course I
will stay with you no matter how hard it is, I will always
love you"
Tonight really became a very
romantic night and it will be never forgotten.
